Edgewater Develops Portals for Millers Capital Insurance
Enhances agent collaboration and reduces back-office costs
Wakefield, MA – April 27, 2009 - Edgewater Technology, Inc., (NASDAQ: EDGW, “Edgewater Technology” or the “Company”), an innovative technology management consulting firm, announced today that Millers Capital Insurance (“Millers”), an operating insurance company of Millers Mutual Group, has recently completed two web-based information portals to support both agents and employees.

To support these goals, Edgewater developed the agent portal to streamline the commission and billing cycles and to provide enhanced reporting capabilities. Dashboards and other robust tools are being used to promote collaborative, long-term relationships between the agencies and Millers.
Edgewater also designed and built the employee portal to enhance business functionality and communications across departments. Focusing on Millers’ business procedures, Edgewater automated many of these manual processes thus setting the stage to reduce Millers’ yearly operational expenses. The employee portal is built upon a tight-end security model so that confidential data can reside on the portal and is only accessible based on a given role within Millers’ organization.
